READY-TO-USE ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS
fonois
Fonois technologies for industrial acoustic insulation
Fonois is an innovative, ready-to-use product line for machine soundproofing, featuring advanced technologies that overcome the limitations of conventional solutions in minimising system-generated noise.
The Fonois modular systems are defined by two patented technologies – Quiet Leaf™ and Slim Hurdle™, developed in-house, which deliver up to 70% higher sound absorption capacity compared to leading competitors in the same category. These technologies act as functional accessories that enhance overall machinery performance, not only acoustically.
Quiet Leaf™ tecnology
Brevetto QL-Core – n° 102022000001994
These technologies enable the construction of acoustic barriers, protection enclosures, and soundproof casings with unique characteristics:
- Extremely low thickness, in just 1,5 cm delivers the same performance as 10 cm of rock wool
- Vibration control on metal surfaces
- Possibility to create versatile, resistant, reusable, and consistently removable elements
Slim Hurdle™ tecnology
Brevetto Slim Hurdle – n° 102016000060492
Slim Hurdle™, also referred to as thin-baffle technology, uses soundproofing panels just 2 cm thick – compared to the conventional 10 or 20 cm – enabling the construction of acoustic silencers, aphonic grilles and silenced ducts with significantly reduced pressure drop compared to conventional solutions. Thanks to this innovative technology, which leverages geometry design alongside intrinsic characteristics of sound-absorbing materials, up to 70% to 90% of the surface area remains open for airflow, thereby optimising flow efficiency.
Slim Hurdle™ is the only technology that enables the production of curved silencers and fully customized ones by design, delivering maximum flexibility for any design need. This technology surpasses the limitations of conventional rock wool silencers, resolving common challenges such as:
- Breakthrough
- Breakdown of the sound-absorbing material, compromising acoustic performance and requiring replacement after a few years
- Self-induced noise, caused by internal vibrations
Despite the minimal thickness of the sound absorbers, Slim Hurdle™ delivers outstanding performance, even at low frequencies, by leveraging geometric design alongside the intrinsic properties of sound-absorbing materials.
