Features
The Quiet Leaf™ acoustic barriers consist of modular panels with a galvanized steel structure, designed for mechanical strength and long-term durability. The outer surface is clad in diamond-patterned sheet metal, offering maximum resistance to environmental exposure and degradation. On the inner side, facing the noise source, each panel contains a sound-absorbing mat made from non-toxic textiles and natural fibres, bonded with fire-resistant phenolic resin and protected by polyester nonwoven fabric (TNT). This configuration leaves 100% of the absorbent surface exposed, ensuring optimal acoustic effectiveness. Panels have a minimum thickness of 40 mm and achieve a sound insulation index of Rw = 34 dB. Each unit is treated with magnetic damping material featuring anti-rumble properties, resulting in non-resonant structures with sufficient mass to attenuate sound propagation across a broad frequency range.
Fire-retardant acoustic barrier option available
The Quiet Leaf™ acoustic barrier is available in a fire-resistant version, composed of high-density insulated components and featuring a self-extinguishing fire rating, making it compatible with most installation scenarios. For specialized applications, such as ATEX environments, an A1-certified version is available, developed using Wool&Loom™ technology. This technology employs a woven–nonwoven layer coupled with a tensioned sheet that leaves 70% of the surface area open, delivering high sound absorption capacity. Its design outperforms conventional micro-perforated sheets, which typically offer only 30% openness, and incorporates a blind facing of ribbed sheet metal to enhance panel rigidity.
Aesthetic customisation
The Quiet Leaf™ acoustic barriers blend seamlessly into architectural and landscape environments thanks to a range of customisation options:
- High-strength powder coating, available in any RAL colour,
- Textured film finishes, designed to visually integrate with the surrounding context.
Surfaces are free from visible structural components, ensuring a clean and uniform appearance. The intelligent design of the sound-insulating panels allows, in most cases, installation without heavy supporting frameworks or foundations, simplifying setup and reducing overall costs. For applications requiring full acoustic shielding, whether indoors or outdoors, acoustic enclosures are also available.
