Features
The Ring GF exhaust acoustic silencer features a circular structure housing 20 mm (2 cm) thick sound-absorbing baffles, developed with a double-H geometry to target low-frequency noise. It also incorporates patented Slim Hurdle™ technology. They are used to reduce noise emissions from various types of fans, including low-pressure models, installed on air handling systems or refrigeration units, where they enable ventilation and heat exchange while minimising acoustic output. They are also suitable for evaporative towers and rooftop extraction towers.
A one-of-a-kind curved version at 45° and 90° is also available for each diameter. In addition, all Fonois silencers can be customised with a galvanized or painted finish in any RAL colour. To complete the acoustic treatment along the entire air path, from the fans to the internal distribution, Fonois also delivers SH™ baffle silencers, specifically designed to reduce noise propagation in ducts and crosstalk between adjacent rooms.

What makes Ring GF Silencers unique
These acoustic silencers are specifically designed for equipment fans that handle large volumes of air, such as those installed on cooling coils, but often operate at low pressure and feature conical exhaust. Unlike conventional models made with rock wool and perforated sheet metal, they offer a higher net open surface area, up to 90%, and provide the following unique advantages:
- Compatible with any type of fan
- Preserve equipment performance without alteration
- Lightweight and do not require support structures
- Improve aeraulic flow separation by eliminating bypass phenomena
- Maintain long-term effectiveness, as they are not subject to the breakdown phenomenon
